The time is simply long ago and the place is the magical, mythical Sherwood Forest. Our hero, Robin Hood, and his Merry Band of colorful characters seek the help of the Foresters, manage to waylay the Aristocrats and set out to rescue Maid Marion and Marion’s Maid. Prince John tries to stay calm as his Sheriff, guards and horsemen botch Robin’s arrest thanks to the aromatic Skunks. Wacky humor and an original score add to this fresh new look at a legendary outlaw in a legendary time.

Volunteer's Needed:

Popcorn Fridays

Consider this your personal invitation to be a part of popcorn Fridays! Each week LWES PTSA sells popcorn and fruit leather to students during recess. Volunteers are needed every week to make this happen:

  • Two volunteers are needed on Thursday afternoons  from 1:05 PM - 2:45 PM to pop popcorn.
  • Two volunteers are needed on Friday mornings from 9:40AM – 11:10 PM to sell fruit leather and popcorn during all first recesses. Please arrive at 9:30 AM to set up your table and chairs (undercover) so you are ready by 9:45 AM.

This is a fun volunteer opportunity and the kids love it!

SIGN UP HERE to help!

(Must be a PTSA member to handle money.)

(Must have a valid Food Handlers Permit to pop)

WATCH D.O.G.S:

Upcoming Events:

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a K-12 program that makes it easy for fathers (or father figures) to spend meaningful time with their children in a school setting.

Volunteers are asked to spend at least one day (or 2 half-days) at Lake Wilderness Elementary supporting students and being a positive male role model through: Monitoring school property, helping with bus duty and greeting students as they arrive, working one-on-one or in small groups, reading, assisting with assignments, lunch, refereeing games, listening ears, and other student related needs. WATCH DOGS can volunteer any day they are available during the school year.

If you're interested in being a Watch DOG or getting more information, email Robert  to get connected or sign up for a shift HERE

All WATCH DOGS must be cleared by the Tahoma School District. Fill out your volunteer application here!

Do you have any FUN ideas? Of course you do!

Please let us know how you would like to use your talents and make Family FUN Nights the place to be!

We LOVE our volunteers! Adults who volunteer in the classroom, chaperone field trips, help during field day, or work directly with students in any way (including PTSA after school events), are required to complete Tahoma’s background check and be cleared to volunteer. The background check process is done entirely on line (there is no longer a paper packet to fill out). If you have NOT completed an ELECTRONIC background check, please click here and complete it ASAP. Thank you!
